I am a senior Professor of Hepato-gastroenterology in Cairo University. I had most of my training in Cairo University plus a short training period in Edouard-Herriot, Lyon, France. I had my doctorate degree in 1994.
I am an expert endoscopist and I am past director of The Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Liver Unit in Cairo University.
I am also past Dean of the National Hepatology and Tropical Medicine Research Institute.
