Chairman of the Office of Development and Martyrs Families Affairs at the Presidential Court, with the rank of Minister, since October 6, 2023.
Sheikh Theyab is the fourth son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
He holds a number of positions at the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal level, which are:
- Head of the “Arab Youth Center” since August 11, 2022
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Etihad Rail Company”
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Abu Dhabi Transport Company” since March 2023
- Member of the Supreme Petroleum Council
- Member of the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the Executive Committee of the same Council.
- Member of the Board of Trustees of “Salama Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation”
- Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the seventh session of the “Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Program for Excellence and Community Intelligence”
- Executive Director and Chairman of the “Steering Committee for Modernizing the Capital Plan 2030”
- Member of the Board of Directors of “Mubadala Investment Company” since March 2023
- Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Emirates Foundation
- Head of the “General Strategic Plan for the Republic of Seychelles” project and the official representative of the Abu Dhabi government in this project
- Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority
- Chairman of the Aviation Sector Development Committee in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Fund for Houbara Conservation since October 8, 2020, after he was a member of the Board of Directors.
He previously served as Chairman of the Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court between 2019 and 2023.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management from the Florida Institute of Technology in the United States of America.
