Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rotana Jet Company , United Arab Emirates. He served as Chairman of Etihad Airways , the Department of Civil Aviation , and GAMCO, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation between 1992 and 2000, and Executive Director of Gulf Air between 1996 and 2000. He was also a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi .
