Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak

Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He has been in this position since 2015. He is also a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the Executive Committee of the same council. He is also the Chairman of Image Nation Abu Dhabi, Tourism Development and Investment Company, Miral Asset Management Company, Aldar Properties, and Aldar Academies.

In addition, he is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Alliance for the Management of Conflict Areas (ALIF) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates School Education Foundation, the Media Zone Authority – Abu Dhabi, Al Qattara Investment Company, and Al Jazeera Investment and Real Estate Development Company.

Al Mubarak joined Aldar Properties in 2006, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Real Estate Portfolio Management Officer. He also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of twofour54. He worked at Barclays Capital for investment and institutional business in the United Kingdom, and was a member of Board of Directors of Etihad Aviation Group.

Al Mubarak received the “Federal Personality Award” in 2013 from the “Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research.” He holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Northeastern University in the United States of America.
