Come on out to the Tipsy Turtle Seaside Bar & Grill an open-air beach bar with a resort
vibe. We are the only beach bar on
Galveston island that has it own beach where you can park for free get some fantastic food and rent a comfortable beach chair,
umbrella, and beach toys. Next, you can head on up to our 4000 Sqft deck try
one of our special drinks at our full-service bar or get some people and enjoy
the view. Bar and enjoy the watching the waves crash into the beach.

The Tipsy
Turtle is located approximately 3 miles
off the seawall or 5.5 from 61st and the seawall west on FM 3005 heading
towards the west end of the island. Formally known as beach pocket park # 2, we
have transformed this park into a happening spot beach with a full liquor bar, great menu, shaved ice, and “beer so cold
it will make your teeth hurt.” We offer some
of the best views of the Gulf of Mexico, and
we are only steps away from putting your feet in the sand or playing in the
warm gulf water. All while you are
drinking one of our specialty drinks. It’s
a feeling only the ocean air, and the
beach can deliver. At the Tipsy Turtle, we strive to deliver the highest
customer service available by not only having great food and drink but by doing our best to keep you
entertained. We have live music on Friday and Saturday evenings (summer only)
and offer a variety of games to play such as corn hole, giant Jenga, big dice,
and horseshoes. We also have a beach
rental department that can supply you with everything you need to enjoy a full
day at the beach. We rent umbrellas, beach
chairs, paddle boards, boogie boards, beach toys, games, or rent our exclusive”
fun in a box.
