to interface with any B22-type bulb. It can be used to power ON any connected
LED/light bulb in the absence of ambient light and power the bulb OFF in the
presence of adequate ambient light automatically.
depending on the absence & presence of ambient light. Any existing
LED/light bulb can be automated using Night Sense.
and connect Night Sense along with the bulb to a ceiling/wall mounted bulb
holder.
Bend and adjust the long flexible LDR based sensor of the
Night Sense such that the sensor faces the trigger light source (light source based
on which the connected LED/light bulb has to be switched ON/OFF).
Make sure that the ceiling/wall holder is powered ON and
Night Sense will ensure to switch ON the LED/light bulb automatically when
sufficient light is not available from the trigger light source and to turn OFF
the bulb when adequate light is available from the source.
Night Sense is equipped with a slider switch to adjust
sensitivity of the sensor. When the switch is set in LOW position, Night Sense
is expected to react for very minimum light i.e., if the device is installed
outdoor (exposed to day light) and sensitivity is set to LOW, the connected
bulb is switched ON in the evening only after the day light falls to very low
level and the bulb is switched OFF in the morning when day light is at just-starting/very
low level.
When the switch is set in HIGH position, Night Sense shall
respond at comparatively more light than the LOW position of the sensitivity
switch. i.e., the connected bulb shall be switched ON in the evening well
before the day light falls to very low level and the bulb shall be switched OFF
in the morning when the day light is comparatively more than just-starting
level.
The MEDIUM position of the switch makes Night Sense to
operate in between the LOW and HIGH modes.
The appropriate mode can be chosen by user depending on
climatic conditions, area-of-operation and power/light intensity of the bulb
being used with Night Sense.
The total Switch-ON time of LED/light bulb in a day shall be
more in HIGH sensitivity mode than in MEDIUM and more in MEDIUM than in LOW
mode when Night Sense is used outdoor.
