Capacity Building: Training Omani nationals to qualify and work as Industrial
Innovation Specialists, then become members of knowledge based industrial
economy network. We train 100 Omanis annually.   

Start-ups Innovation: Commercialization of industrial innovations by establishing start-ups and
coach/mentor them to accelerate and grow. IIC extends support in fine-tuning of the
innovation, technology scouting, opportunity scoping and implementation till the
start-up is sustainable.

Company Innovation: Facilitating and co-funding innovative projects aimed at new
product development, product / process optimization, problem solving, technology
scouting, prototyping and implementation to enhance company’s performance and
competitiveness. 

Sector Innovation: Supporting management and operations towards best global
innovation practices. Championing and co-funding innovation in key industrial sectors
through: transfer of technologies, scouting and developing opportunities, waste
reduction / management, introduction of new products / services.
