At Impact Karate, we focus our classes on children from ages 4 to 18. We love working with kids to help make them outstanding young men and women with skills that will help them excel throughout their lives. Attributes that include confidence, self-defense skills, and respect among others.
Our classes are held in the evenings so that it is convenient for parents after they get home from work to bring them to class and it also allows kids to get their homework done for they come to workout. While our classes are disciplined, we make time for kids to have fun too! Most of the parents’ hangout in the lobby or they bring folding chairs and sit in the back outside of the dojo having a good time with their other kids and other parents. Impact Karate Center encourages a family atmosphere that forges lifelong friendships.
About Our Sensis
- Sensi Ronnie is a teacher at heart. He is transforming, one student at a time, into confident and
respectful adolescents. He has been training in the martial arts for over 13 years and currently holds the
rank of Sandan (3rd Degree Black Belt). Starting as a student at Impact Karate Center for medical
reasons, his passion for the martial arts exploded and allowed him to break free from corporate
America. From that point, he became a full-time instructor, which led to Program Director and fast-forward to today, owner of Impact Karate Center. Sensei Ronnie has trained hundreds of students,
many of whom went on to college and are pursuing successful careers. His belief in working hard, never giving up, and always doing what you say, are the keys to his student’s success. Life lessons that they hold to and build on the rest of their lives! - Sensei Joe is a teacher, coach, motivator, and above all else, a passionate martial artist. His training began over 35 years ago with a gift certificate his parents gave him for his 8th birthday. He is currently a 7th Degree Black Belt dedicated to empowering students and families to live healthier, more exciting lives through the practice and application of self-defense, fitness, and life skill training. Sensei Joe has trained hundreds of students, leading many to local, state, and national karate championships. More important than any martial arts title, he believes that by encouraging students to work hard and take pride in their lessons they will develop the self-confidence to navigate any obstacles that life may throw in their way.
- “Little” Joe Trinkaus is currently a senior in high school. He began his martial arts training at the age of 5 with a simple desire to kick and punch like his dad. However, as he progressed through the ranks, he developed his own love and appreciation for the art. He began participating in competitions at the age of 8. He is currently a first-degree black belt and holds several AAU State and National Championships. Just before COVID, he was invited to be a member of the 2020 AAU USA National Team. He aspires to continue his training while also sharing his enthusiasm with a new generation of martial arts.
If you trust us with your child(ren), they will be taught in a safe and fun environment by 3 black belt Sensis’ that are passionate about their craft. We only work with children in our classes and we teach them self-defense skills to make them bully-proof. Some of our students love Karate and compete in competitions locally and throughout the state. Whatever the level that your son or daughter wants to achieve, we will encourage and help them reach their goals.
