David Langford/Langford Construction, Inc. has over 35 years’
experience building custom homes. We specialize in log, timber frame and rustic
design, but can build any style custom home, which includes, stucco,
rock/stone, brick, etc. Our main goal is to exceed your expectations and to

Our building process begins with an initial appointment with
David Langford, the owner of Langford Construction, Inc. This time is utilized
for communicating your ‘home style’ and gathering details of your desired
choices in a home. David will discuss your lot and geographical situations that
may be present. David will want to visit your lot/property to give him an idea
of the placement of the house. He
strives to gather as much information about the details of your home so he can
work to create a floor plan that suits your wants/needs along with the budget
planned to build your house. After this initial meeting, David will begin to
draw a floor plan based upon the information you have provided. A deposit will
be required before the plans are drawn. The amount of the deposit will be
determined at this meeting. (If you bring plans for an estimate, there is no
charge; they must be ¼” scale with elevations; an appointment is required to
gather details of the house you desire to build.) Once the plans are finalized to your liking,
a written contract will be presented for your approval. On average, customers are spending approximately $165 per square foot for a custom built home.

signed and we receive the first draw, as stated in our contracts. We are a true
custom builder; therefore, we understand there may be changes requested by the
homeowner. Sometimes, these changes will incur extra charges. You will be given an estimate/change order for

We do not provide financing. We can refer you to a financial
institution that has many years’ experience in residential construction loans.

Average building time is 6-8 months, weather permitting. During
the building process, we will contact you often for your input and the progress
