Law Enforcement Officers
Citizen’s Guard Security offers Law Enforcement Officer who are hold a POST certification and are often off duty police officers, military, and officers who hold a POST certification. All ODO LEO’s have the authority to arrest and use force to stop aggressive behaviors. All law enforcement officers are either active, retires or former police officers who have been trained and hold experience.
Armed Security Officers
Citizen’s Guard Security offers Armed Security Officers are trained, certified and licensed. All Armed Security Officers hold a Armed Officer license are certifies with less lethal devices such as baton, pepper spray, taser, and handcuffs. All Armed Security Officers are able to provide security services in Pensacola, Florida.
All Armed Security Officers are required to certify their firearms qualification twice a year, undergo drug and background screening and attend re-certification education
Unarmed Security Officers
As the premier security guard company in Pensacola, Florida, Citizen’s Guard Security officers unarmed security guards. Unarmed security guards will observe and report incidents they observe on their watch. They hold no arrest powers but are able to assist law enforcement when called. All unarmed security guards hold a Security Officer’s license issued by St Louis County Police and are required to attend annual security officer re-certification education

What type of security guard service do you offer?
We provide mutable levels of security guard services to our customers. We provide Security Guards, Security Officers, Armed Security Officers, Law Enforcement Officers, Security Supervisors, and Security Managers. The level of security services are contingent on the type of security coverage required and the number of man hours needed to provide the coverage.
Do security officer have the authority to make an arrest?
All states have various laws governing arrest. Officers have the same authority as a law enforcement officer while on duty and at the assigned security site.
What types of rates do you charge?
Our security guard rates are charged by the hour based on the payroll of the security officer, the type of work involved, added risk, skill level, and equipment needed for the coverage. Security guard pay is the most important factor in setting the hourly rate; because, we are able to hire higher quality security staff if we are able to pay them a competitive hourly wage and offer better benefits.
Does your company carry insurance?
We provide general liability insurance as it relates to the security industry and will cover false arrest, assault, neglect, personal injury, property damage, physical losses, and breach of security duties. We carry workers compensation according the work comp laws of the state.
What type of security coverage do you provide?
We provide armed and unarmed security coverage to include retail, events, hotels, construction, industrial, facility checks, patrol services, short term, and long term services. If you need anything specialized such as any particular operation, then, give us a call and we will help you.

Greg Miller – Founder, CEO & President (Security Guard Service)
Greg Miller is the Founder, CEO and President of Citizen’s Guard Security (Citizen’s Investigation, LLC). His career begun in military law enforcement in 1992 when he enlisted in the US Air Force and attend Security Police Law Enforcement Academe at Lakland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. His first assignment was off base police patrol at the 569th US Forces Police in Kaiserslautern, Germany. While on patrol in Germany, Greg worked with the US Army Military Police, Office of Special Investigation (AFOSI), Criminal Investigation Division (Army CID) and German Polizi. He then transferred to Altus Air Force Base Oklahoma when he assisted with operations related to the 1994 Oklahoma City bombing.
In 1998 Greg went on to work for the Illinois Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer. During his time as a Correctional Officer, he worked at several prisons throughout Illinois to include death row at Pontiac Correctional Center.
In 1999 Greg went on to become a certified law enforcement officer in the State of Illinois was was assigned police patrol. He was responsible with responding to emergencies, criminal investigations and community police relations. At times he would work as shift supervisor and also joined the County Drug Task Force.
In 2007 Greg moved on to work the civil side of the criminal justice system and was employed as a Legal Investigator with the Citizen’s Law Office. This is when he was inspired to be involved as a private practitioner in the civilian criminal justice field. He went on to earning an Associates degree in Criminal Justice System.
In 2009 Greg was hired by a non for profit agency that investigates complaints of governmental misconduct against private citizens. He was assigned to work as a Vitim’s Advocate, on behalf of victims of excessive force .He then, went on to become a Field Investigator and traveled throughout the USA conducting investigations involving various governmental agencies.
While working as a Field Investigator, in 2010 Greg became a Private Investigator and established his own investigative practice in Indiana. He was Agent in Charge of investigative work in Indiana. 2011 Greg earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law Studies. 2013 Greg founded Citizen’s Security and was CEO until he restructured and became Founder, CEO and President of Citizen’s Guard Security under Citizen’s Investigation, LLC.
Today his experience, values and understanding of the security guard industry has enable him to be a leader in the security guard, armed security guard and private investigation industries in St Louis, Mo to include Florissant Maryland Heights Missouri .
