Professor Mohamed NasrAllah is a nephrologist who works as a professor of kidney diseases and kidney transplantation at Kasr AlAiny School of Medicine, Cairo University.
He is also a consultant of Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at Misr International Hospital (MIH). The transplant centre at MIH has one of the largest living transplant volumes worldwide performing over 250 cases per year.
The transplant programme at MIH works in close collaboration with Grenoble CHU, France for dealing with complicated transplant cases requiring desensitisation.
He graduated from Kasr AlAiny Medical School in 1994 where he completed his medical training, earned his Master degree in 1999 and his Medical Doctorate degree in 2005. He also holds several accredited certifications in teaching and scientific research planning, has participated in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and contributed to educational curriculum design.
He currently serves as a consultant of nephrology and kidney transplantation at Cairo University as well as at Misr International Hospital in Cairo. He has also co-organised several international and national CME courses and scientific conferences.
His research publications and interests are mainly concerned with cardiovascular risk and mineral & bone disease in patients with chronic kidney disease, issues related to renal health in the local populations and transplantation.
